High Performance Computing cluster

This infrastructure has more than 3.000 cores and half a petabyte of high-speed storage. The nodes and storage are interconnected with low latency and high-speed Infiniband network, with latencies of 0,7 microseconds and a 56 Gbits/s bandwidth.

The cluster is used by hundreds of researchers through a queuing system called Slurm, which deals with optimal use of resources and queues the jobs.

The application focuses on numerical modelling by Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer (CFD&HT) for all H2 phenomena
