H2GLASS aims to create the technology stack that glass manufacturers need to accomplish 100% hydrogen combustion in their production facilities, as well as ensuring the required product quality and safe handling at industrial sites.
H2ELIOS - Hydrogen lightweight & innovative tank for zero-emission aircraft
This project will develop an innovative and effective lightweight LH2 storage system for aircraft. The aim is that the concept is ready to be embedded and integrated in a specified aircraft architecture for flight demonstration in later stages. H2ELIOS will provide a feasible and novel low-pressure double-layer composite tank-based system.
BIKE - Bimetallic catalyst knowledge-based development for energy applications
BIKE is a network for training of T-shaped young promising scientists, who will develop and apply, by an innovative “holistic” approach, the next generation of bimetallic catalysts for energy management. In particular, for blue and green hydrogen production processes.
DOVELAR - Control and management of energy in hybrid electric vehicles with fuel cells - DOVELAR
The aim of the DOVELAR project is to contribute to the improvement of fuel cell-based electrical powertrains by: building an improved fuel cell, improving the control and energy management systems of the PEM fuel cell hybrid systems, and the validation and tuning in three specific applications of practical interest.

Currently under construction at the Diagonal Besòs Campus, with a total investment of more than one million euros from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
MECATEN - Mechanochemical preparation of catalysts for energy applications: methane activation and hydrogen production
In MECATEN project, catalysts based on metals supported on inorganic oxides will be prepared with mechanochemical methods, and their capacity to transform the methane molecule (natural gas) and for the photocatalytic production of hydrogen as an energy vector will be studied.
